4. Fund: The Republicans ignored oversight because they were a "family friendly congress." LOL
Edited on Thu Nov-16-06 07:46 PM by Minnesota_Lib
He actually defended them for ignoring problems because they wanted to only work 3 days a week so they could spend more time with their families.

OMG! What a tool!

13. He did NOT say that?????
This should be priority #1 with Pelosi and gang....and publicize it to the skies.....Congress will now be in session 5 freakin' days a week. If we hav to do it, so can they.

Family friendly....don't get me started.

16. Here is a link for the video....
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036697/

It's a few minutes in. Fund starts off by saying "Look, the Republicans had a legitimate problem, they did not do the oversight that congress should do because they only had a three day work week (or words very close to that)" and when he gets backed into a corner by Tweety and Al, he actually sounds like he is defending the Republican's "family friendly" work week. LOL You be the judge.

:)

6. Thank you! This was good
Al already comes across as a Senator, for what that is worth.

He's hard to beat. I think his years of going through the hoops of acting help him a lot.

8. Al's The Man...
I've been a fan since Franken and Davis on SNL. Does anyone remember the skit he did during the "Al Franken Year" where he came out in favor of the draft? Because he was now making a lot of money and needed all of the 18 yr olds to join the military to protect him and his assets? It was one of the funniest pieces of satire I've ever seen. It's a wonder someone doesn't dig that up and try to use it against him.
