Bill O'Reilly "Media Hall of Shame"
For some reason, I found myself at Bill Reilly's website today. I notice he has something called the media hall of shame.

http://www.billoreilly.com/pg/jsp/general/mediadef.jsp

"Media Operations that Traffic in Defamation

We believe the following media operations have regularly helped distribute defamatory, false or non-newsworthy information supplied by far left websites:
- The St. Petersburg Times
- MSNBC
- The New Yorker Magazine
- Newsday
- US News & World Report
- Atlanta Journal-Constitution
- Syracuse Post-Standard
- Kansas City Star
We believe these are the worst offenders and are not worth your time and money. In the months to come we expect to add more names to this list. We recommend that you do not patronize or advertise with the above.
"

Yes, Bill O'Reilly has a list of newspapers that "traffic in defamation." Yet he doesn't provide any examples of defamation from these papers. Isn't this list defamation itself considering that he provides no proof at all? This sounds like something Joe McCarthy would do. What kind of sheep watch Bill O'Reilly's show? Does Bill O'Reilly think that people will boycott these newspapers just because Bill O'Reilly tells them to and he provides no reason at all? The worst thing is, he is probably right. There are probably millions of sheep who will follow his every word without asking questions. How the hell does this chump get the primetime slot?

6. I assume that maybe the reason MSNBC is on there is because Keith is always making fun of him
But unlike Bill, Keith always provides proof. He had proof when he called him on the Malmedy Massacre Messup. He has proof on everything else.

7. Geez....can't the Right do ANYTHING original?
This fool has spent an entire career lifting the ideas of others and then babbling on television and radio until the drool flows over his lipstick - and now he honestly thinks he is in a position to question the journalistic integrity of leading media outlets?

We have many reasons for wanting the Fairness Doctrine reinstated - and O'Reilly's bullsh*t is but one of them. There is, in my mind, nothing so unpatriotic as an American who so arrogantly seeks to rob the general public of fact-based truth. And O'Reilly is as much of a treasonous idiot as has ever been produced by the nutcases who dream of establishing a dictatorship in this country.

10. His newest addition is Conde Nast Publications
because they publish GQ, and Keith is in their Men of the Year edition, and he said something negative about Billo.

Aww.

12. Thanks EdwardM, I would have missed this one.
Simply because I don't have any this to do with Faux News.

You see I believe they "are not worth your time and money" and "do not patronize or advertise with the above."

And this not only sounds like something Joe McCarthy would do; it is. Don't forget McCarthy's attempts to smear Ed Murrow.

13. Where's The New York Times???????
Isn't that the most subversive paper in creation? Didn't they play "traitors" with disclosing the secret wiring tapping? C'mon BillO...get with da agenda.

I think he set up this list in '05 on one of his tirades and columnists in these publications took a shot at him. Of course insulting the might BillO banishes you for life.

And we sure know who the MSNBC is for...
