Search Michoud for bodies, City told (NOLA)
"The Michoud area of eastern New Orleans has never been searched for bodies since Hurricane Katrina and should be investigated as soon as possible, Coroner Frank Minyard told the City Council on Wednesday.

Minyard said he does not want a repetition in New Orleans of what happened last month in New York, where the bones of victims of the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks were pulled out of a manhole near the World Trade Center that apparently had never been searched."

1. How many millions did FEMA pay their Houston croneys
to clean up bodies? Only to have many left behind?
How many have been eaten by alligators or carried back out to sea or left to rot under the hot sun?
Those are all someone's loved ones who will have to wait years for insurance policies to pay or for the strength to move on with their lives.
It is criminal.
The whole fucking thing.

2. Anyone know how many NOLA residents are still missing?
Remember when they started retrieving the bodies? They shut out the press, brought in Bush's Funeralgate cronies and then announced that the body count was miraculously thousands fewer than expected. The final count comes in well under the death toll for 9/11, avoiding awkward comparisons for the administration.
