3. That doesn't matter anymore does it...
Tweety and his ilk are acting like they had nothing to do with this...they're gonna put this whole war on the Dems. I'm telling you it's going to happen over the next two years. It's just another page form the Nazi Propaganda playbook.

What a slimy shithead Tweety is...

26. "Stay the course" is so passe, didn't they think up a new phrase
recently?

However, I think the new phrase said the same old thing in a different way so, yes, what exactly is "the course?"

You become so easily programmed all they have to do is stick a funnel in your ear and they fill you right up with their horseshit.

7. straight up!
you got it right... tomorrow he may take the blue one...

really, Tweety is a bit neurotic/multiple personality, one day he's pro-common sense, then for 3 or 4 days he's irrational and seems to be trying to please the other side, ya know - the dark side.

Tweety should take a colossal dump...he's got that constipated anger. Maybe he was looking for A-bombs so he could finally get some relief.

Codpiece-man needs to get a grip.

9. He's just upset that his brother got less votes than Rick Santorum
Jim Matthews was Lynn Swann's running mate.

They actually got less votes than Santorum by about 8k votes.

That's pretty sad!

13. What is the plan?
Since Bush is "commander-in-chief" -- I only see two possibilties.

One, remove Bush and Cheney from the official positions that permit them to order troops to Iraq, ie., impeachment.

Two, cut off the military funding for deploying troops to Iraq and stopping funding for the U.S. bases and teh embassy in Iraq.

I believe I have heard in recent days Howard Dean, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi say one or both possibilities are "off the table."

So ... what is the Democrats plan to get U.S. troops out of Iraq?

Like it or not, Tweety may have a point.

19. He might have a point but he's asking a strawman question
I wish our democratic talking heads would have an answer for him. This question is disingenuous on his part and it bothers me everytime he asks it.

There is no way that a person with any intelligence would lay out a plan when we don't even have all the information. For 6 years we have been shut out of many of the decision making regarding this war and the running of this country. We never received full access to all our options and an assessment of the damage that's been done by the republicans.

We can list goals but we would be foolish to lay out plans. Chris Matthews will probably use those plans and throw them back in our faces if there is any deviation from what we said.

They're letting Matthews bully them.

15. well, he's a talk show host

So his job depends on (a) talking about "ideas" and "plans", and (b) plain gossip, obloquy, and speculation.

Democrats have never been good at giving this variety of parasite all the "ideas" and "plans" they need- because the "ideas" and "plans" these people need need to be ideological, theoretical, abstraction-based. The less pragmatic and practical and commonsensical, the better- because then you can gin up the 'controversy' by pulling in mythology, radical bias, ideology, fantasy, insinuation, and many other bad ideas and stupid beliefs. All of which works as an idiot magnet and draws in the wacky talking heads and the wacky audience.

What we're seeing on Tweety is the essential talk show basis, and Republican favoring, appeal to stupidity being ramped up. I bet his ratings are dropping faster than Fox News Channel's, and so he has to pull out all the stops to get Republicans watching him again. (Democrats watch him only in a clinical sense, I suspect.)

Where the FUCK is his "plan"?? Name one thing they predicted that's come true! Flowers? Name one 'reason' for invading Iraq that was true! WMD? Flaming asshole! :grr:

The GOP has presented no "plan" and has NEVER presented a "plan" - just LIES! They went in without a "plan" and have looted the Treasury and put our children's children into debt without either a "plan" or a Truth!

Go fuck yourself, Tweety! :grr:

21. When Keith Olbermann came on after Tweetie's Dem bashing last night, Keith
brought up how the Dems were being slammed for infighting, and meanwhile, the day before when Trent Lott won by one vote, nothing was hardly said. Then Keith said something to the affect..Liberal Media Bias, Ha! I wish he would have slammed Tweetie for his bit.

25. Here is a plan.
Will the Busholini Regime accept this plan? :banghead:

Kucinich 10 point plan

1. The United States must ask the United Nations to manage the oil assets of Iraq until the Iraqi people are self-governing.

2.The United Nations must handle all the contracts: No more Halliburton sweetheart deals, No contracts to Bush Administration insiders, No contracts to campaign contributors. All contracts must be awarded under transparent conditions.

3. The United States must renounce any plans to privatize Iraq. It is illegal under both the Geneva and the Hague Conventions for any nation to invade another nation, seize its assets, and sell those assets. The Iraqi people, and the Iraqi people alone must have the right to determine the future of their country's resources.

4. The United States must ask the United Nations to handle the transition to Iraqi self-governance. The UN must be asked to help the Iraqi people develop a Constitution. The UN must assist in developing free and fair elections.

5. The United States must agree to pay for what we blew up.

6. The United States must pay reparations to the families of innocent Iraqi civilian noncombatants killed and injured in the conflict.

7. The United States must contribute financially to the UN peacekeeping mission.

8. The United Nations, through its member nations, will commit 130,000 peacekeepers to Iraq on a temporary basis until the Iraqi people can maintain their own security.

9. UN troops will rotate into Iraq, and all US troops will come home.

10. The United States will abandon policies of "preemption" and unilateralism and commit to strengthening the UN.
