He's facing a big-money candidate with big name recognition: Thomas Kean, Jr., a Republican State Senator and son of a former Governor. Their family is entrenched in the state for generations and has big money backing.
Menendez has a whole lot of money to raise.
Any disgruntled Democrats looking to make an impact with their political contributions should consider supporting his campaign this year.
