Inhofe is out as chair of Env Committee?

Washington Monthly is citing a WaPo article today which quotes John Warner on his upcoming fight for Senate environmental leadership for the Republicans.

"I carefully reviewed the rules in consultation with the Secretary of the Majority, who assures me that my seniority on the Committee forms a clear basis, under longstanding precedent"

In other words, John Warner will very likely be the ranking member of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, forcing Inhofe :puke: out of his leadership position in that committee.
