Go to www.whitehouse.gov:

Search for "May 2003."

Choose "News Archive -- May 2003."

Go to the bottom of the News Archive and click on the video of "President Bush Announces Major Combat Operations in Iraq Have Ended."

You will see that the video has been shifted upward about 20 percent in its frame, leaving a black strip across the bottom.

Missing from the top of the video is the "Mission Accomplished" banner.

2. Not surprising.
The Bush White House takes the same approach to "history" that Stalin did: If we make the photographs go away, it didn't happen. Unfortunately for Bush, we have the Internets, and the evidence is just flowing around in all those tubes. :D

14. The San Diego Skyline Was...

Just a Mile from the back of the cameraman....bush was able to see it very clearly...which is another lie...the Networks reported to us all that he was ten miles off shore....This proves just how RED San Diego is....I believe there are images on the net of bush on the ship doing his speech taken from the shoreline....

11. Well, now they'll have to doctor all the video that the news outlets have as well.
All it does is make BushCo look like assholes in denial.

Who, do you suppose, was the IDIOT who thought that might be a good idea? Who could have believed that the glaring, crass chop (why not just resize the entire image, instead of leaving that obvious black line there?) would go unnoticed?

These people are glugging the koolaide. It's like Hitler's last days, they've no grip on reality anymore.

12. Watching the junta is like watching a bad "B" movie.
The villains are so over the top, so transparent.
