Ten years from now you won't remember Bush's approval numbers on January 30, but you'll sure be well aware of the results of his Supreme Court picks. There is no "up" about this. Bush could be impeached tomorrow, and if Alito is on the bench, he'll just vote to reinstate him.
I repeat, I see no "up" to this. Thanks for trying to make us feel better though.

When are some of you good, well-meaning folks out there going to realize that NOBODY CARES!
Bush could be at 20 percent approval -- you'd be happy -- but neo-fascists, by definition, couldn't care less about public opinion.
In fact, my observation is that the lower Bush goes in these polls, the faster he and his gangster pals hurry to consolidate their power.

2. Would anything really change if his approval went down to 2% |
|
I don't think so. Without a revolution, nothing will change. And only a draft will trigger a revolution. And the revolution will probably be quelled with a massive bio-agent.
Time to take mind-altering drugs and smile.

39 % approval, total failure in every sense, mired in scandal - yet he keeps moving on.

32. give the gop credit - they don't give a shit about approval ratings |
|
they don't care if what they do is unpopular - they believe in it and they keep on going for the jugular and doing what they want. i don't blame them. they are greedy, bigoted scum. i'd like to see a vogorous, organized opposition - not a bunch of hand-wringers like obama spouting "high-minded" blather in the middle of the battle.

6. Come on guys. Let a little sun-shine in. 39% shows that he has |
|
lost those voters probably for good.
Means they will not get another Alito. Cause Dems will have power in 2006. That is what it means.

But so many Democrats boarded the Alito Express today coupled WITH a president whose approval numbers are in the tank...what are they so freaking afraid of? Pissing off the 30% of Bush's freeper base who wouldn't vote for them on a bet?
They're afraid of the 30% freeper base...you'd laugh if it weren't so tragic.

lifetime. And you want to talk approval ratings? I guess you don't understand we are not in a reversable position and 2006 doesn't mean that much anymore! But whatever . Be happy.

15. Rasmussen has Bush up to 50 percent(highest in months) |
|
And this is before his state of the union speech.
If you look at the Senate polls repubs are gaining in most.
Not good news on the poll front.

mainstream polls. Most polls still show Bush is in the cellar. All is not lost.

"You really have to wonder what kind of bloated house-bound moron could think slumping polls and plummeting approval ratings would worry a gang of fanatics who stole two elections in a row, invaded a country they knew couldn’t defend itself, and gave a male hustler White House security clearance."

either in elections or in the Congress.
There's entirely too much emphasis on polls that Bush doesn't let change his fundamental strategy, as opposed to elections. The social security reform didn't die because Bush had low polls, it died because there's an election coming. If the repugs get past that, Katy bar the door.

Maybe if we can figure out how to get Bush down to a 5% approval rating, the spineless DINOs will realize that they can stand up to our popular President.
