Has there been a suitable explanation for the extortion
of bail money set by the judge in the Houston Janitor's roundup?

2. Link below
http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/front/4341531.html

When I first saw this story, it was stated that bail was to be set at $32 M. Doing more research on it now.

3. Our school district (Portland) fired it's janitors a couple of years ago.
Brought them back as temps, thru an agency. The district saved little on wages, but a bundle on health insurance for a hundred or so (re-processed) employees, and their famlies.

Little word on how those families are doing on 30% less and no health insurance.
