3. Our school district (Portland) fired it's janitors a couple of years ago. |

Brought them back as temps, thru an agency. The district saved little on wages, but a bundle on health insurance for a hundred or so (re-processed) employees, and their famlies.
Little word on how those families are doing on 30% less and no health insurance.
