So WHAT if we win the house or even the senate in '06? |

Will it really matter, if we just elect MORE Dems like the spineless ones who failed us today? They kowtow to the Republicans every single time. What difference does it make if the house or senate is majority Dems, since many of them behave like Republicans anyway?
We all worked hard in anticipation of today. How many times have we worked hard to boost our leaders to behave as leaders should behave. But you can't create fortitude where none exists. Well, I, my friends, am taking they year off--walking away from political activities, being selfish with my money and my time for the next year--to decide just which party I want to contribute both to in the future.
Our party is allowing a minority of centrist/conservative Dems to sabotage our futures. How many times have we been disappointed by the actions of the SAME people? I won't be a part of that. Tonight I became a Democrat in name only. And I'm not sure how much longer I'll carry that name.

1. If the Dems, generally speaking, keep acting like spineless cowards, |
|
they can forget about winning anything back in 2006.
