1. "About 140 Saudis, including around 24 members of the bin Laden family" according to this:

2. And the FBI didn't interview a single one
before they were allowed to leave the country.

More proof that the War on Terra is bogus.

8. Richard Clarke, who has not been caught in even a single lie
and had the complete confidence of the Clinton administration, said that he and the FBI interviewed each one and were canvinced that none of them was in any way complicit in any wrong doing...

10. Have you go a link for that info
It was my understanding that they were allowed to leave the country without being interviewed. How could the FBI, interview 120-160 people in one day before allowing them to leave?

12. That was his testimony before the 9-11 commission.
I think it may also have been in one of his books, although, since I have none of his books, I can't verify that.
I'll scout around and see if there's a transcript available.

13. Clarke took responsiblity for approving the flights
but the FBI never interviewed the people on them before they left the country. Apparently, they didn't they there was any need.

May 26, 2004

"The request came to me, and I refused to approve it," Clarke testified. "I suggested that it be routed to the FBI and that the FBI look at the names of the individuals who were going to be on the passenger manifest and that they approve it or not. I spoke with the - at the time - No. 2 person in the FBI, Dale Watson, and asked him to deal with this issue. The FBI then approved . the flight."

"That's a little different than saying, 'I claim sole responsibility for it now,'" Roemer said yesterday.

However, the FBI has denied approving the flight.

FBI spokeswoman Donna Spiser said, "We haven't had anything to do with arranging and clearing the flights."

"We did know who was on the flights and interviewed anyone we thought we needed to," she said. "We didn't interview 100 percent of the flight. We didn't think anyone on the flight was of investigative interest."

6. I think the 24 bin Ladens are included in the 140, but that may account for the differing reports.nt

3. Not important. The fact is that not one of them should have
been flown out until an investigation was finished.

5. You would have thought that we would have a definite number
from the FBI logs

I was just confused... remember we never got the 20 terrorists who supposedly died in the crashes... 24 Bin Laudins or was that the 20 terrorists being flown out...

7. Unlike the Nazis, this administration just isn't good at record
keeping.

I could tell you, but to comply with the PATRIOT Act I'd have to kill you.
