Hit on Lebanese minister?
Don't know if the thought came to others that we may be involved with that Lebanese minister shot to death yesterday. The envoys from Iran, Iraq and Syria are to have a meeting about conditions in Iraq, and we weren't invited. So to stir things up, I wouldn't put it past our administration to instigate this assassination, and easily pass the blame onto Syria. It just seemed so convenient for Bush to get on tv a few hours later, ready with his speech to point the blame at Iran and Syria. He doesn't want to have to negotiate with them about Iraq, so maybe he's trying to put up another phony wall to keep us going in Iraq. Seems far fetched, but then he's the war criminal.

1. I think it's more likely than not, given the Iran-Iraq-Syria meetings...
The LAST thing BushCo wants is for Iran to be seen as leading efforts to stabilize Iraq. That would screw up all of the Empire's plans.
