Alito confrimation has me inspired to run.............FOR PUBLIC OFFICE!!!
There is much to be said about trying to fix corruption while working in a corrupt system. To be more succinct, it's very difficult to do when our representatives masters are not the electorate, but the almighty dollar that brung them. The Alito confirmation smacks of a decision that was made in the name of paying back corporate benefactors.

Afterall, corporations have more sway over Republican appointments than real principles do. It is also apparent that some democrats bow to the same masters. This needs to be dealt with head on if we expect to salvage our democracey.

Perhaps this has me inspred to run. I shall call my campaign "The Unfunded Campaign". That's right!!!! A campaing that does not accept money from ANYBODY!!!!!!!!!

I am of the opinion that the only way to enact real change is to do from the outside. That means people of principle need to start challenging incumbents in order to sway the debate and inspire this party to fight for our votes. That also means offering up a real challenge to corporate power that has run amock on our system.

I choose to be inspired by defeat rather than be cowered by it. I take responsibility in that maybe I am not doing enough. Perhaps it's time to address the real demon in our system which has become the elephant in the room; CORPORATE CONTROL OF THE SYSTEM!!!!!!!

8. All politics is local
Start locally or statewide and work your way up the totem pole to build a grassroots following.

NO money accepted, services only. Media, Promotion, Grassroots feet on the pavement.

Put up or Shut Up. $'s don't count cause it's too easy to just write a check.

4. You know...
You may have a point. The only safe place left to be in this country might be as a Republican in Congress. Everyone else is pretty much screwed.

7. Probably not congress
But maybe?

Kerry and Kennedy are my senators.

Perhaps state legislature (We can recall our National Guard Troops) or maybe mayor. I am thinking about pamphletting and standing outside a polling place to request a write in. The systne is not set up for a guy like me to get on the ballot.

Hopefully running as an average schmoe will inspire others average schmoes to run. I think that is what is needed to change the system; Fear in the hearts of those qith money that allows them access to power.

No act is too small!!!!!
