Awfully sporting of us really, as a nation, to put up with that which no nation should put up with, awfully tolerant of us wouldn't you say?

No neo con atrocity is too much for us to accept and absorb as normal in the post nine eleven, bush flavored world. No tyranny is too much to break our happy go lucky, go shopping now society. No amount of dead G.I.'s or dead Iraqis will disturb our collective hypnosis, or our ability to absorb and live with each new shock to our system from the neo cons.

We need to break this ridiculous trend of tolerating tyranny before it's too late.

1. Corrupt Is The Word That Comes To Mind
I'm not looking for the perfection of heaven, but some further Reality Checks could come in handy.

2. We don't mind it, we have plenty of distractions.
Grand Theft Auto, Law & Order, Judge Judy. We kind of like Authoritarianism. Tell us what to do, just don't have no fuckin' draft. Just wait... I think the will actually call it something more catchy, like "Americans Reporting for Military Service for Under Subpoena Act" ARMS for USA.

3. Dereliction of duty
IMO anyone that does not seek to hold those accountable for the state of the union is derelict. It is their sole responsibility. To uphold the US Constitution. They all swore an oath to do so and we the people placed them there for that task. It is also a benevolent society that cares for all within it's borders and maintains the safety of all. We elect Representatives to go to Washington and uphold our trust. When in a "Law Abiding Society" people flaunt and break the laws they need to be held accountable. If we do not hold those criminals accountable then were are derelict and stand in complete opposition to everything America stands for. Congress ,if after conducting investigations and find laws were indeed broken, fail to hold those accountable by removing them from office then they are derelict of duty and should themselves be removed from office.. IMO

4. I agree
But I've also been saying the same thing for quite a while and not been heard. It is a time that we began to return to their attakcks with simple contrite words, such as "How can you even try to stand on thqat argument, it has no basis in the real world." or "Have you considered speaking about the facts rather than distortion and hype, thse are thge facts."
