>"Lt. Col. Ralph Kauzlarich, the Army Ranger officer who commanded Pat Tillman’s regiment in Afghanistan, conducted the second Army investigation into his death. He told ESPN, referring to the Tillman family, “I don’t know, these people have a hard time letting it (their son’s death) go. It may be because of their religious beliefs.”

It seems entirely reasonable to me that if the guy was an atheist then he deserved to die anyway so why bother doing a thorough investigation into his death? :sarcasm:

1. According to George HW Bush, atheists can't even be considered true citizens or patriots

2. I remember how quickly ESPN cut away from Tillman's funeral

after his brother eulogized him as not being particularly religious.

As for this family being able to let go, maybe they could have done that by now if the Army had "let go" of the truth about the real cause of his death. But noooo, they couldn't let it get out that he was killed by friendly fire--considering that he gave up a multi-million dollar pro football career to enlist, that would have been too EMBARRASSING! Lt. Col. Kauzlarich, that is FINE talk coming from someone who's seen Tillman's death investigated TWICE!
