for success. Alot of those "no" votes were nothing but political posturing from people like Lieberman. People who voted "yes" for cloture but "no" on comfirmation. Just putting up their fake front.
Of course, I wish they'd tried one anyway. Much better to put up a fight and lose than to whimper in a corner and lose. Fight and others will follow.
