Write ONE message, send email/free online FAX to ALL the Traitor Senators
The following is a list of the Traitor Senators who did not support the filibuster of Alito's confirmation, and voted "Yes" on cloture in the Senate yesterday. The ones in bold type are the SUPER-Traitors, who not only didn't support the filibuster, but also voted for Alito's confirmation today. By using the link below, you can write one email or FAX message and send it to all the Traitor Senators. (It's also possible to select from the list, and send a special message to the SUPER-Traitors, if you wish - more on that below).

The Traitor Senators (SUPER-Traitors are in bold type)

Akaka (D-HI)
Baucus (D-MT)
Bingaman (D-NM)
Byrd (D-WV)
Cantwell (D-WA)
Carper (D-DE)
Conrad (D-ND)
Dorgan (D-ND)
Inouye (D-HI)
Johnson (D-SD)
Kohl (D-WI)
Landrieu (D-LA)
Lieberman (D-CT)
Lincoln (D-AR)
Nelson (D-FL)
Nelson (D-NE)
Pryor (D-AR)
Rockefeller (D-WV)
Salazar (D-CO)

IMPORTANT! Remember, using this link means you don't need to take the time to write individual messages, but can write only ONE message, and click just once to send it to this entire list of Senators, all at once. It's really easy.

Use the radio buttons to select whether your message will be sent by email (the default) or FAX. This site requires javascript, and will send your FAXes over the internet - no need to log off to send them. The instructions for creating two lists, one for Traitors, and one for the SUPER-Traitors, are below.

http://capwiz.com/thedeanpeople/mail/?id=202&id=361&id=397&id=622&id=11025&id=9482&id=453&id=454&id=201&id=537&id=628&id=273&id=688&id=292&id=10892&id=10748&id=31613&id=623&id=31624

Instructions for sending two messages:
If you want to send two messages, one to the Traitor Senators, and one to the SUPER-Traitor Senators (those whose names are indicated in bold type in the list aboove), use these instructions:

First, click on the link that says "Select Individual Recipients" to see the entire list. Use the check box to the right of each Senator's name to select which Senators you wish to send your message. You can easily create two messages, one for the Traitor Senators and another for the SUPER-Traitor Senators, by selecting and deselecting the Senators with the checkboxes. (These instructions may make it seem far more difficult to do than it really is. Try the site and you'll see how easy it is.)

3. Welcome to DU, Billary2008.

:hi:

I have to disagree with you there. As annoyed with her as I am, I don't know that voting for Green candidates would be the best approach. Especially not in a general election, as that would just drain votes from Dem candidates. More progressive Dems is the answer, imho.

16. Cantwell's competition!
I just got a message that the guy who is running
as a democrate against Cantwell is going to be
on the Thom Harttman show tomorrow. His name
is Mark Wilson. I haven't heard much about him
but he comes highly recommended as the type
of progressive we're all looking for.

Because of your vote, I will work toward, and contribute to, your removal and replacement in the Senate, in favor of a liberal candidate. Your action has galvanized my resolve and, for that, I thank you.

9. Finished? Save Public Access TV! by Feb 13th 2006
Edited on Tue Jan-31-06 06:20 PM by sadjonny
Please.
When you wake up from tonight's SOTU Drinking game, check this out.

Telcos want to kill local (PEG) Public Educational and Government access channels, they say to start out is unreasonable, but so is loosing free speech "unreasonable!"

Read about it you loose a lot.
There's different ways to help.

Make Your Voice Heard to the FCC by Feb. 13th:
February 13th is the deadline to make your voices heard and to submit comments regarding the FCC’s ruling on “Video Franchising”. We need community media producers and supporters to tell the FCC why we need franchising rules that support access TV. A good FCC ruling that reflects the public’s opposition could influence Congressional activity around new legislation. You can read the FCC NPRM and find other info.

Thank you

10. Thanks! Here is what i told em..
"Well it didnt take long for Georgia, South Dakota, Tennessee, Ohio and Indiana to already put through legislation make abortion illegal except in life or death cases.
So thanks a lot. You had a real oppurtunity to uphold the Constitution and the basic fundamentals of the party and people you represent.
Shame on you and for the years to come that women/gays/minorties/eldery/HUMANS have to look forward to under Alitos backward rulings."

And i wrote a particularly scathing one to Senator Landrieu, she could have stuck up for our forgetten state insteading calling for a cloture, disgusting.

13. I Sent The Fax Option!!!
I'm sick of the DLC, "gang of 14", or even the Senate traditions!!!!

They should have filibustered and let the Repukes put up or shut up with their nuclear option.

Either way it would have cost the Repukes more than the Dems.

But the DLC Dems and the gang of 14 are not interested in preserving the courts, they want the corporate interests to have more power.

I'm through with every damned one on the list, and 2 (Lincoln and Pryor) are from my state.

I will do every damned thing I can think of to campaign against them!
