Poll question: Grade Democrats vote on Alito
Democrats were 4 votes short of a party line vote on Alito. What grade do you give that performance?

1. f.
It should have been crystal clear what HALF of America thought about Scalito. With four of them backing down, we look like wimps.

2. C- because 25 people did what they thought was right. er, correct.
as for the 19 yellow bellies, it won't take more than two or three opinions to see just what damage they have allowed to occur.

Alito should have been stopped - 25 Dems recognized that (some with force), the others did not.

I think of that poor little girl. I think of Bush Inc's NSA crapola. I think of torture...all of them now hang in jeopardy.

7. A day too late. That was the vote that counted. Today's vote was for
show... so they could show the people back home. What do they take us for ... for fools? That same vote yesterday would have been a win! ... the bastards!

10. The confirmation vote was EASY
It was easy as hell to vote against Scalito's confirmation, knowing the outcome was predetermined by the Puke majority. No Dem should get a pass because he/she voted against confirmation.

The only vote that mattered was cloture. On that, the Dems get a resounding F -- for FUCK YOU. Because that's what we got: fucked.

11. I agree - no pass for the ones who voted for cloture
My Confirmation grade was for the party overall. 4 Democrats voting with the Repukes was about average, though on such an important vote, that won't cut it.

12. I stopped expecting good things from the democrats
The first strike was the Iraq war. Then the presidential primaries. and then came election day. When they do something good, now, it's just a pleasant surprise, but all my hope has been crushed.

I give an A+

The 19 who voted for him I give an F.
