2. I'm angry at the Dems who didn't help. |
|
They should've voted for the filibuster, should've stood together rather than whining now.

5. Oh - they mean Democratic "leaders," not the rank and file. |
|
We're angry that more Democratic "leaders" didn't vote with Kerry, for the most part.
This shows the widening gap between what our leaders think we want and what we actually want.

6. You make the assumption that they actually CARE what we want. |
|
As a Democrat, I'm mad as HELL at these worthless money sponges. How do you mis-read the constituency on this one? No one could be this stupid, could they?

8. Oh - I've been posting all day that those who voted for |
|
cloture don't care about their base: they care about their corporate donors.
So, I agree.
Pisses me off, too. :grr:

7. Yeh well they'll really know what angry means when we start |
|
writing our donation checks and their fucking names aren't on them. I'm calling the DSCC tonight and telling them to take me off their damned mailing list and letting them know that I will be donating to specific Senators this time around rather than allowing them to distribute the money. There is a nice little list of 25 Senators who will be getting donations from me in their next election cycles. For the others, the primary challengers if there are any will get my donation.
