There's something about watching a humorously dysfunctional family with Jesus in the front seat of the family car that I found very enjoyable!

I enjoyed the one episode I saw, and then all of a sudden, it was canceled.

But we all know it was the Christian coalitions doing.

8. They didn't like Jesus chatting with a pill popping Reverend

They didn't go for the gay kid, the pot selling kid, the horny Chinese kid, the bi sister in law, the drinking wife...the bishop father with his altzheimer's wife screwing the other bishop (but hey, that was a hetero relationship!)...it had so much for the fundies not to like, it made their heads explode!

And the housekeeper swiping the kid's pot and having a bit of a smoke out back....

The whole thing was a hoot to me!

brings back a tough memory or two for me. I can really see why the Christian Conservatives went ape over this though.
