Poll question: Watch or Don't Watch (?)
Watch or Not ?

I personally don't feel I can at this point, but maybe I will so I can stay informed.

3. "Watch him so you can know your enemy"?
Since when has * said anything in his speeches even remotly considered to be factual? The only thing you'll learn by watching him speak is how to fake a bad texas accent, and the latest RW spin.

4. Not watching
I'm afraid I'd destroy my TV and get by blood pressure up too much. BP is probably a little high anyway right now.

He's not going to say anything we haven't heard before, we'll be lucky to get a rehashed synopsis of everything that has failed so far.

9. Doesn't matter if he says anything worth hearing . . .
The True Believers will hear choirs of angels, and a combination of Churchill and Cicero dribbling pearls all over the podium.

We still need to know what he said, and take the measure of his performance (i.e., actually hear the goniff rather than skim a transcript the next day) to get a feel for how steady/unsteady he is.

And also to laugh at the putz. Don't downplay the healing effects of laughter.

14. It's all lies anyways
He has taken this country and wiped his ass with it. I have no use for him, Condi, Rummy and all the other bastards that make up Bush Inc.

I will be listening to the Young Turks though; they said that they were going to cover it and point out the lies.

18. Not a cat in hell's chance I'll watch
If his smug, stupid, ugly face shows up on the food channel, I'll switch off and watch a rented DVD. I will read the transcript later, but I won't watch that man.

My foot would be through the screen of my dad's new 32 inch TV.

I can be very nicely informed by a transcript. Posters here will tell me about the coke wag and slurred speech.

you just know their all smirking, just like the chimp in charge.
Frankly,John Kerry and Ted Kennedy must have very thick skin to be able to sit their and listen to Bush pretend to be President.
