What kind of diplomacy is this leaking of memo of distrust of the person you are trying
to influence and "help" stablize their country. This is pure nuts. How can we be any more offended by this governments behavior? It is truly outrageous.

1. I would call it passive aggressive, but
I am not a psychologist, I just play one on the internet.

2. Making it clear that it's Iraq's fault. Not ours. These guys are so low,
so cowardly, such chickenhawks. Will they EVER stand up and say, we made a mistake. No, they'll blame it on Iraq. Maybe they can piss them off enough that Iraq will tell us to get out and join forces with Iran and Syria. How convenient. They are off the hook and they could bomb all their enemies at once.

3. Give it a few minutes.
There is always something in the wings to further offend us. As for the memo leak, that's pure Bush--divisive, mean-spirited, manipulative.

4. I think it was the Baker group
jerking Junior's leash. He was showing no signs of preparing to listen to them. Now we'll see if Junior is ready to go mano a mano with Poppy's minions.

5. Setting Maliki up for the coup that's about to come.
We did the same in Vietnam I think. When your "man" doesn't work out, you quietly pull the legs out from under him, a signal to all that he's okay to take out.

6. BushCo is beholden to Saudi Arabia
Cheney was summoned to Saudi Arabia(Sunni). BushCo hates Iran(Shia). Iraqi government is Shia majority.

BushCo leaked their own memo. They're picking sides. IMHO.

8. I like your take...
this guy has got to go under the bus. I don't know if it's so much picking sides, as it is getting someone who will say how high when asked to jump.

7. How do we know it wasn't done to undercut Bush
and hasten withdrawal of US troops by someone in the WH who has had it with Bush's insanity and his continued refusal to face the failure of his delusions that there will ever be "success" in Iraq?
