They're only what, a good 2 1/2 years behind most of us here? Over 3, I know, in terms of going in anyway. But I think a lot of us knew it was downhill that summer of '03 when the UN embassy was taken out. Geez, that was ugly.
I wonder how long before the Green Zone gets airlifted out of there.

They just said to pull back, but didn't recommend any kind of timetable, nor did they say whether to pull back to the US or to other Mid East bases. Not a very dramatic or courageous recommendation. OTOH, Bush just said that he wouldn't pull back, so this makes it a little more fun.
