This has been bothering me all day. This morning I saw Bob

Woodruff being loaded on a plane for a trip to the U.S. Unless I am mistaken, this plane would be the first flight carrying wounded from Iraq that did not arrive here in the dead of night. As I recall our bullshit government put out all sorts of reasons other than concealment regarding why the flights from Germany always arrived in the dead of night. Either those reasons are just another bunch of fucking lies or the valid reasons our government gave for transporting the wounded at night are being ignored for a photo op.

Correct me if I am wrong. If this has already been discussed, sorry.

But there has been no mention on the news. In fact, my friend who is serving in the medical corps said that he would not be able to email last night because they were overwhelmed by seriously seriously wounded soldiers...and lots of them.

We don't get even a fraction of the horror of the war over here.

I was quite shocked to hear on the nightly network news, the so called journalist say something like, "though were normally not allowed to photograph the returning wounded, this occurs constantly." Or some such thing.

Hope they all heal up but am deeply concerned over this mess both for our folks and the Iraqis.
