OMG I just heard on the nightly snooze |
|
that a female GI who was wounded in Iraq and is now recovered will sit it the first lady's box with her guard dog for the SOTU.
Can you say "convoluted photo op" kids. . .?
Woof.

2. Bomb sniffing dog. She is not blind |
|
used the dog to sniff out bombs, they got blown up, she was told the dog had died in the explosion then found out later, it was still alive. A touching story, got heart, a dog, a girl and the love they share....

This must be the one who asked the Army for her bomb search dog after she was wounded in Iraq. They almost never give them up but she did get hers.It was on the "news" last week.

9. or can't get medical treatment for a full year after their return |
|
or are now homeless or have acute PTSD, or have been stop lossed or . . .or . . .or
Like I said, though it's a heartwarming story, it pales by comparison to what is really going on in terms of real loss and multitudinous devastations. That get no attention whatsover.
Like that long forgotten Jessica chick who they tried to use as a poster girl and then she said (paraphrasing) "Bull That's not true."
Not watching tonight. Can't deal with it. You guys can tell me about it later.
Have fun.
