2. I was a banking systems analyst for several years |
|
I did some work on ATM systems.
This potential vulnerability has nothing to do with who manufactured the machine at the customer end. They all use the same technology to encrypt and transmit information.

3. I have the luxury of two accounts |
|
and I keep one of them ONLY for ATM withdrawals and online purchases. That's my security system, limiting the losses should that account get hacked.
The account I inherited from my pop is the one with the serious money in it. I don't have a bank card and I write few checks.

4. I can't remember the last time I used an ATM. In France in 2001 |
|
maybe. If I need cash I cash a check at the supermarket or at my bank. Or I just pull cash out of my business bank deposit (I'm the boss - I can do that, lol).
