Wanna see something REALLY disgusting? The website of my congressman, Connie Mack. (Dickhead/FL)

[A HERETIC I AM]

To be honest, I hadn't ever before taken the time to look at a particular representatives website in detail. I had looked at the video of Mr. Barney Frank's recent appearance on Bill O'Reilly's program and thought to myself "I'm going to write Mr. Frank a note, telling him I am behind him and the next time a similar situation arises, (as it is sure to arise) to call Mr. O' Reilly out on the fact that he is a GIANT HORSE'S ASS!"

And thought, "Yanno...it's time that someone like Mr. Frank actually said, out loud, on the air what most rational people already know.'

It would be kind of a Jon Stewart moment. You know, like when Stewart told Tucker Carlson he was a dick on national TV.

So....I Googled Mr. Frank and got his website but on it under the link for "contact" it has a link "Email your Congressman"

You get this;

So I followed the protocol, entered MY OWN zip code (I know, I should have lied and put in a MA Zip Code) and of course got a link to;

http://mack.house.gov/

Now all I wanted to do was add one more positive note to the hundreds of thousands of emails Mr Frank gets regularly but i was hoping i could get through.

No.

It would pretty much be a pointless exercise. So now what?

Well, I had some time on my hands so I began reading Mr Mack's website and was struck by how incredibly banal his position are. Look at this page for instance;

Typical Bush Bullshit but what is striking is the little note at the bottom....

This notation occurs again and again for every issue Mr Mack has an opinion on.

In other words, he has an opinion, but he has nothing to back it up.

What a total fucking Dickhead.

The end result of this little 30 minute exercise in internet self-flagellation is that I have found that I wont actually be able to get a message to a Congressman I really want to talk to and the one I am supposed to talk to is a fucking nimrod.


I'm 47.

At this age, why am I not surprised?
