Seriously. It would be completely in line with everything else he's done. It's not at all a stretch to envision Colbert asking "the heroes" to enter his name, either as write-in or actually petition to get him on primary ballots.
Only question is, which party? Stephen's a registered Democrat, but it'd make more sense for his name to be entered in the Republican primary. Of course, then he might depress youth turnout in the Democratic Primary and rob genuine candidates like Hillary, Edwards, and Obama of votes.
