I saw this on Wonkette and had to share. :)

"Page Six: Lord only knows why, but Page Six asked Al Gore if he thinks Britney Spears should wear underwear. “No comment,” he said."

"Answer This

HOLLYWOOD superstar Al Gore is vocal on the subjects of global warming and politics - but when it comes to boldface shenanigans, the former vice president's lips are sealed. Soledad O'Brien interviewed Gore at Time Warner's Conversation on the Circle event Tuesday night, but left out one pressing issue: Britney Spears' recent crotch shots. When Page Six later asked Gore if he thought Spears should wear underwear, he responded with a crimson blush and "No comment." Huffington Post's Rachel Sklar quipped, "Now that's an inconvenient truth!" '

Seriously though, now the paparazzi and the corporate media have finally seen that part of her anatomy (which, lets face it, was all they ever wanted) can they stop talking about her forever? Or is that hoping too much?

4. I sure remember her thoughtful analysis on the Iraq War.
Spears - "Honestly, I think we should just trust our president in every decision that he makes and we should just support that, you know, and be faithful in what happens. "

10. It was the gum-smacking and vacant stare that really SOLD that
cogent, incisive analysis.:eyes:

For what it's worth, I think my man Al handled that as well as he possibly could have...

with a more insipid reply than that.

She acts like one of those gop hypocrites that we ousted on Nov 7, 2006.

5. Just be grateful he wasn't asked about Natalie Holloway
or what he thoughts on the OJ-Murdoch-Regan deal were.

I suppose they asked him because of his earlier quip about Lindsey Lohan.

14. "Should Britney Spears wear undies?" is not a serious question. It doesn't deserve a serious answer.
The point of the question is to make him look unpresidential. The best answer is one that makes the respondent look (1) unflappable and in control, (2) morally palatable to people who worry that Britny Speers is corrupting today's youth, and (3) an appropriate blend of hip with a little bit of nerdiness.

16. Bingo
That Page Six "reporter" should be ashamed, although I doubt he/she is capable of such an emotion.

15. "Hollywood superstar Al Gore"
Six years ago, if you'd told me that the New York Post would one day use that phrase without irony, I would have laughed in your face.

21. Would any Press ask John McCain about Brittany's Undewear? NO!!
But asking what the MSCorprate media thinks is an appropriate question for what they now call, "The Pillsbury Dough Boy" who just happens to have a nominated Environmental Documentary out there winning awards is fair fodder for the likes of Al Gore...the "Sore Loserman." :-(
