3. Awful host and hostess
Edited on Fri Dec-01-06 07:45 AM by peaches2003
The Bushes are awful hosts- he leaves the parties VERY early to go to bed his usual 9 PM, thinks nothing of what his guests might like, bullies his guests (Webb) and on top of his crap they serve awful food! Chicken-fried steaks and tamales at a Christmas party?? Of course, because the KING likes them. They have no class at all.

I am so sick of Texas I could puke and would if I had to eat the combination of foods Bush serves at his parties.

6. I have to defend the tamales as a long-standing Christmas
tradition via Mexico that has become very popular in Texas, and probably in other areas with large Hispanic populations. But there's no excuse for the chicken-fried steak.

5. The holidays should be canceled until they figure this mess out.
Bob Herbert wrote a great piece in the New York Times the other day that was all about how there is virtually no sacrifice in this country. Christmas shopping is featured in the news as prominently as the war. College students who say they don't think much about Iraq, etc. You can read the whole piece on truthout.org.
