Is Air America Radio streaming anymore?

It's not coming up in iTunes for me in the last 3 days...

and the AAR homepage Real Player just says "Please tune back during broadcast hours".

this has been happening for a few days now.

Help me somebody!

3. This was happening to me a few days ago.

I was getting that same "Please tune back during broadcast hours" message. When I tried again a while later it worked fine.

Just as a guess, maybe their server is getting overloaded at times and refusing connections. They may have the wrong message set for this situation.

4. I haven't been able to stream AAR from itunes or the AAR website

this week I thought it was a problem with my computer.

It seems OK but I-Tunes doesn't work.

9. I've had the same problem

I have comcast,so I tried using window media player rather than real player and it works just fine.

10. My local affiliate suddenly became ESPN radio...

as if we need another sports radio channel...

Itunes stream has not worked for me for 3 or 4 days.

Now I'm back on one of the Real streams... :eyes:

I haven't been able to get it through iTunes for about three days, and the stream doesn't work from the webpage anymore.

To make matters worse, I subscribed a few weeks ago to AAR Premium so I could hear Thom Hartmann archives (I'm not always home during his show). After just a few days, my password suddenly stopped working. I asked them to send me a new one, and I never heard anything from them. So my six months pre-paid subscription is useless.

If not for White Rose Society and one hour of Thom on Sirius, I would be completely cut off from my favorite progressive radio shows.

16. Did you contact Air America Place? They could probably help with your

subscription (they keep the archives). BTW, my sub has been working fine, so it's not across the board.

14. I tried the mp3 link (the one used by iTunes) and it seems to be down

I tried to pull it up using Winamp, and it wouldn't connect.

The Windows Media Player stream works, though:

Not sure about the Real stream, since I try to avoid Real Player:

You can also try the various affiliates as well. WWRL in New York carries his whole show, and WHLD in Niagara Falls carries Seder from 10-12 ET. Both stream live.

17. I think they won't be around for long. Which is very sad.

Franken has made lots of jokes about all the trouble they are in. I've also heard similar sediment on Rachel Maddow's show and Randi Rhodes. Several of the clear channel stations changed formats.

Hopefully, I'm wrong.
