So after English is the officially required language in the US

Will the republicans and their anti-diversity, anti-immigration cohorts on the left then try to outlaw accents? Who thinks speaking English will actually be enough "assimilation" for these people? I can already hear them "I know they are speaking English, but 'insert city' still sounds like a foreign country to me." And this isn't a joke, I believe they actually would want something done about it.

1. Civilization is about sameness
If nothing else, I'm sure we'll have a pill for accents.

2. I'm sure some faith-based grammar/pronunciation rules will be forthcoming.
Don't you worry, they'll be very happy to issue some
specific guidelines on what we can say, and HOW we
can say it.

As long as you never say ANYTHING before you clear it
with your Neigborhood Language Officer, you'll be fine.

4. Freepers: You can teach them to speak to speak English, but you
can't make them speak and understand logic.
