I'm SHOCKED! Hypocrisy at the New York Post!!!

Okay, reading one of the editorials today while having my oil changed really made me want to scream! All week they have had on the cover of the post Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton. Either all three or one of the three have been on their covers all week. I know this because I pick up the Daily News and USA TODAY and make sure I see what the post has on its cover for the day. To be fair, The Daily News is guilty of this as well.

The editorial in the Post talk about the outrage of the liberal media and how they put Britney,Lindsay, and Paris on the covers of their papers/magazines just to make a buck! The editorial goes on about how the liberal press has no shame and only cares about selling papers. They continue about how all the things that are going on in the world right now and how the 'latte limosine liberals' only care about these three airheads. They ask what is wrong with the MSM? I am not a regualr reader of the Post but is this sort of shit common? I mean, was this serious or was it satire? "Hello, Black Kettle? Party of One?"

This paper is so bias its become a joke. I think the sports section is what keeps the paper alive!

to titillate . . . in the hope that you'll pick up a copy to see the "story inside" . . .

seems to work, as their circulation keeps climbing . . . I have to plead guilty to reading the rag regularly, but only for the sport section, which I happen to like . . . the rest is birdcage lining . . .
