Poll question: Should the Congress only allow the White House two hours of electricity...
and water per day, to show the President what it's like to be in Baghdad?

They pay the bills, so they could do this, couldn't they?

6. Yes, indeed...
but this is kind of a good idea. Give the Secret Service all the power they should need to protect his life, but make him sit in darkness.

7. Wouldn't hurt to lob a few rockets at the dump from time to time
Just to really give the miserable little punk the full flavor. Oh, and make food really hard to come by, apart from rice and beans.

10. Rockets are overboard, but the food part is right in line...
no fancy food either. Make him eat the same MREs soldiers in the field eat.

9. We can't do that...
it'd be nice to, but we can't.

I think we should also do it to the VP.

11. This has to be the funniest poll I've seen! Way to go, OrigPCKelly!
We've got to let them have some electricity--to sort through all those dusty shreds of documents and wiped hard drives, so they have something to answer subpoenas with. And who knows, Henry Waxman might be able to reconstruct it all. We can't let them stand before Congress naked, can we? Two hours a day, with the light bulbs on, should be sufficient. Let them plot their escape to Paraguay in darkness.

As for the guys and gals who pay the light bills in our name, with our bucks--I'll give them a year of unlimited power to figure out how to screw in the light bulb.

14. My Iraq Vet husband says
YES! And the water can only be bottled. None of this running water stuff. AND the port-a-potty should be located 1/4 mile away from the building and the showers should be located 1/4 away in the opposite direction.

And that power is not 2 hours of continuous power. It should shut off every five to ten minutes.

I knew he would have something to say about that one!
