Here's how MSNBC, CNN, FOX will cover the SOTU...
Edited on Tue Jan-31-06 08:24 PM by Blue_Roses
Chris Matthews will be salivating all over himself. He will be grinning ear to ear as he touts, "I think Bush did an excellent job," while Pat Buchanan, Tucker Carlson, and Joe Scarborough chime in. He'll say, "I don't think I've ever seen the President so 'presidential'" while the others once again chime in.

Wolf Blitzer will say how the crowd roared and rosed to their feet for the "boy king" and Paula Zahn, Anderson Cooper will say they've never seen such a spirited crowd for a SOTU address as they chime. Larry King will respond with a "I don't think I ever seen such a great speech from a president in all my life," while the rest--chime in.

Fox, well...it will be so sloppy wet with drool that they will barely be able to speak amongst themselves as they shout "alleluias" to Bush, while hanging their heads to the side like a true "puppy love.":eyes:

George Steph of ABC will say how Bush was "on his game" tonight even though we all know Bush doesn't even know how to play "go fish." :eyes:

Hmmm...let's see...I know I missed somebody. Anybody think of anyone else who will be so full of propaganda bullshit the whites of their eyes will be brown.:puffpiece: These people are so predictable that it's ridiculous. Sad we can't even have true journalists speak the truth.

Who did I miss? Add to the list...

:freak:

Not a stitch of their prostituting themselves will make a goddamn bit of difference.

People are in Pravda mode with the whole thing. Nobody in the Soviet Union got excited about a leadership address, cuz everyone knew it was utter bullshit. It was laughable. We're approaching that point in the US, which is why Bush's last eight or so "campaigns" to boost his ratings have been largely massive failures, with a few being only marginally useful, but temporary. People have tuned these idiots out. And that's why they've been ramping up their nonsenses lately, trying to recapture the old intensity. But, as the Pravda folks knew, you can't recapture the intensity: the whole operation has been revealed as an outright sham. It's now just a matter of running out the clock on these dimwits without too many more people getting they ass killed over the administrations total inability to govern.

10. Good post. When people look at polls and try to dress them up or load
them by calling in (e.g., radio stations, TV) it doesn't work either. You can't change how people really feel about an issue or a crooked politician.

7. Glad you reminded me
why I don`t have to watch this. You left out Matthews` favorite word for Junior....noble. Bush is noble. Noble man. Noble president. Noble leader.
