If you are in a position to exploit the situation, in a few years you would walk away with more than enough money to retire for the rest of your life and still have enough left over to put the next three generations of your family through Princeton, Harvard, Yale, or any prestigious and highly expensive university.

"economic engines" run on what people produce, which Amerika does precious little of, and which War does not do, i.e. produce anything. War, in fact, does the opposite of what basic economics needs; it destroys a great deal materially and conceptually. In the immediate present and far into the future, war destroys rather than produces anything that is economically useful to the People.
