5. Makes sense, though. "Wolf" is so much more manly. I would change it also.

8. Many people say his real name is Leslie...
that means it's reportable as news by today's journalistic standards.

10. The Franken and Blitzer Show...
...

FRANKEN: Well, Leslie. Now, by the way, let's clear this up once and for all. I made a joke once that at renaissance weekend I learned at a panel that your name was originally Leslie Blitzer and you changed it. That's not true?

BLITZER: Correct.

FRANKEN: That was a joke.

BLITZER: You made it up. But there are people who still believe it thanks to you.

FRANKEN: That's why I wanted to clear it up. But now I've cleared it up, haven't I?

BLITZER: Al Franken. What's your real name?

FRANKEN: It's Alan. The other day I was on a show with Tony Blankley and he kept calling me Alan. I was angry at Tony for the discussion because but I liked him. Because only my parents call me Alan.

BLITZER: Al Franken a distant cousin of Bob Franken I learned today.

FRANKEN: Every time someone calls me and said I really liked your dad on CNN, I call Bob. He knows me. I call him every time.

BLITZER: We'll be talking. Thanks very much.

FRANKEN: Thanks Leslie.

BLITZER: Not Leslie.

FRANKEN: Wolf. Wolf. I forget.

6. Didn't see it, but Murtha has never let himself be cornered by the media.
He refuses to lower himself to their level. Jack's a real class act.

7. That's what all of our Dems need to learn to do.
Half our party's problems are that we allow ourselves to be bullied by media pundits.

I haven't watched it yet, but assume it will show up on YouTube.

13. Yes, this is only one of
the reasons I like Murtha so much.

I don't care if he's not the majority whip..that man is going places.

9. Saw it and it was beautiful....
Murtha is not afraid to show his authority and he won't play those little word games. I love that man!

11. Twas great! Also his quote- "This is not a dictatorship!"
regarding The Dear Leader's continued defiance of the will of the American people and the world community regarding his foot-dragging on getting out of Iraq.

12. But Leslie had to have the last word --
after the interview was over he said Murtha was "clearly irritated."

Asshat.
