Terrorist ratings and nudie x-ray searches..watching Countdown now?
I will not travel by air until this government is brought under control. Until some sanity is restored and the rights guaranteed by the constitution are honored once more, the airline industry does not get my business.

1. Yeah, and companies keeping email records for life,
and airlines having a "terror index" for every flier etc...

It's getting ridiculous out there...

11. I was distracted by the lack of hair
but I know what you mean - it really seems intrusive, doesn't it?

2. I am hoping that the new Congress will try to get some control over this.
Sounds like Sen. Leahy is royally PO'd about the "terrorist scores." I would also expect the airlines to object vehemently to the Magic Nude-O-Gram screening machines, too, for exactly the reason you expect: people won't want to fly if they are subjected to electronic stip-searches. And the unions will have a fit, too, because flight crews also have to go through security. Would you want to go through that every time you went to work? It's insane.

3. Just wait until they implement state border control.
Speculating, based on their actions.

5. There's no way they can make TSA employees get X-rayed every day at work.
Their bodies would be more radioactive than a Russian spy's. And those of frequent flyers would not be much better off.

I mean, sheesh, there's a reason that when a patient is getting X-rayed or getting radiation treatment in a hospital, the technicians all GET AWAY!

It's not just the privacy issue, it's the safety issue. We might as well bring back those shoe store foot X-ray machines from the Fifties.

6. I doubt very much they care about the TSA employees.
Any more than they do the soldiers.

7. Here's what to do:
Before you head out to the airport to get x-rayed, get yourself some thin strips of lead sheathing. Tape them just above your "privates", but still inside your undies. I recommend that they spell out "HI", or a be creative and make them into a "Have a Nice Day" simile.

That way, when the x-ray gets developed, the screener will have more than your naughty bits to look at.

8. what I'd spell out in my undies
"I support the violent overthrow of the United States Government."

I like bonding with security workers.
