VA 's Ability to provide benefits worsens

Report to Congress shows VA is falling behind in its efforts to provide prompt disability benefits for veterans nationwide, as its backlog case continues to grow.

So we who have served are screwed

1. Is this the conservative's idea

of supporting our troops? We want to bring them home, and take care of the ones who need it. The pukes are content to make speeches about the bravery of our troops, but don't want to waste money taking care of their needs. It seems to me that WE are the ones who care about them, and want them treated fairly, and not exposed to harm for phony reasons. One thing the republicans are unmatched at is hypocrisy.

2. I hope Pelosi and Reid will tackle this issue

The W administration claims it has increased funding of the VA by 44% over Clinton's budget. The administration spokesman was bragging about this increase.

However, we were not in Afghanistan and Iraq during the Clinton years nor having the horrible deaths, illnesses, and injuries as we are under W.

I hope the hard questions are asked. Now that we are in charge, we can finally get good and accurate information on this complicated subject.

3. 44% was not in health care mostly payroll for Nicholson and boys

The sale of VA Hospitals did not come back to vets it went into a general fund. Plus Bush's budget numbers are base on phony numbers that cannot be backup by facts. That one reason the Senate last year had to rush money to the VA. Nicholson was caught lying to the Committee about how short the VA was. Bush's 2008 budget is going to be the biggest cuts to the VA ever seen. Nancy vowed to fight it.

4. Go Nancy, and get it in the headlines! Use the media.

The American people want to know their service men and women receive proper care. The people will be behind Nancy.

They just need to hear the truth at last.
