No link yet, but CNN just reported it. Wolfie speculates that she was a disruptor and placed under arrest.

19. What does this mean ....
What does this mean for her chances to run against Feinstein? While I agree in principle with her wanting to get the anti-war point across, there is a certain level of "decorum" that is expected?!

23. That's why I'm a tad suspicious of the story.
Why do it beforehand?

I wonder if they actually patted her down and found the banner, then decided to arrest her.

Cindy Sheehan Plans To Be In Audience At Bush Address

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Cindy Sheehan said she will be part of the live audience during the president's State of the Union speech to congress Tuesday.

Bay Area Congresswoman Lynn Woosley gave anti-war activist a gallery pass late Tuesday, just hours before the planned State of the Union speech. Sheehan was in Washington to protest the president during his national address, but then came word she was invited to see the speech live.

A spokesman for Sheehan says she decided to accept the invitation two hours prior to the speech. The spokesman also said that Sheehan will be respectful and listen to the address because she is a guest of a member of congress.

Sheehan is expected to fly back to Berkeley Wednesday. She announced over the weekend that she is considering running for Senate against Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

17. WTF?!?!
Sorry guys, but that's just DUMB - why didn't she unfurl the banner DURING the speech? Of course they are going to kick her out! They will consider it a potential 'disruption' - The SOTU is not a free speech zone AFAIK. Grrr. I just wish she would have waited.

26. She needs help, really!
The woman desperately seeks attention. It was fine last summer when her spontaneous decision to camp in Crawford was admired. But really was a cry for help. I am not a social worker or a psychologist or something like that but she is going around looking to grab headlines. Running against Feinstein, being arrested and what not.

Really. I don't think that we are helping her by admiring her recent activities. She has suffered some kind of a trauma - loss of her son, he marriage - and is searching for something to fill her life, searching for love and adoration.

Please, if you love her, help her seek professional help. It does not even matter where she was or why she was arrested. She is just seeking the headlines.

I wonder how you would hold a President responsible for the death of your son in an unjust war based on lies...

So sorry for you that her misery is offending your viewing pleasure..
