Don't get me started on our insane air travel system ... one of the most taxpayer-subsidized industries. Air travel for us 6'2" guys has been abominable for more than a decade. The "customer" is mere cattle. Color me unsurprised that absolutely EVERYTHING being done treats the public as cattle.

Almost nothing cries out more for nationalization or draconian regulation - absolute requirements that people be accommodated humanely. Whenever I've traveled in the last 10 years, I've had to quell my anger and frustration with tremendous effort.
