At this level the government can't do shit because they have a military with 7.5% this population.

If Lebanon falls things will heat up really fast considering the UN troop presence in Lebanon, who will get drug into the Middle East.

We can also expect a quick retaliation from Israel.

1. Lebanon isn't going to fall but the power sharing arrangement

is going to have to change. The shiites are under-represented in the odd ethnic/religious system of allocating seats in the legislature. This is most likely what going to change. It will not be the end of the world, although our bullshit media system will attempt to portray it as such.
