Will the DVD release of Gore's movie boost his '08 standing? |
|
I tend to think it will have more of an effect than the theatrical run. It's the kind of movie that only the choir probably goes to in the theatre, but it has just enough of a buzz on it to get the undecideds to rent it.
We always see him as 3rd or 4th on the list-maybe this will change
also, we need to set a date for 'national flood gore with letters day' to get him to run

... and everyone returns it with a different view of Gore (and hopefully of GW). The only negative comment that I've heard, and this was from a right-wing whacko, was that he didn't like the part where Gore talked about the 2000 election. Before I loaned him the movie, I told him that I knew he would have some small, irrelevant complaint... and I was right! But, it did open his eyes to the facts on Global Warming.

As a proud member of the "choir" I saw it in the theatre...and bought it on DVD, too. It's just great to see President Gore, a man who is articulate, and both walk and chew gum at the same time. The local Wally World was about out of the movie, FWIW. My guess is that folks who wouldn't go to the theatre are buying the DVD.
As we enter the season of "brotherly love" what is more loving than concern, caring and action on behalf of Mother Earth?
This is a great video for those holiday gatherings!
