A Poem about Bush
Nut Bush
By:True_Notes

I'm the Commander in Chief
That's what they call me
If my intelligence were eyes
I wouldn't see.

That's the way the cookie crumbles
The way the ball rolls
When I screw up with a war
And the common man pays the toll

I can't get anything right
I talk of terror and fright
I speak of crazy things
And my friends have my back
But when this nation I've ruined hear me
They think we're smoking crack.

I pull the blinds of Jesus
Over the Red White and Blue
And pull double standards
for people who want to harm you.

I want only the money
for not being president
but a businessman for oil
and all the dirty deals I've sent.

I hire only evil
because that's all I know
I'm the nut they call Bush
Man these 6 years have went slow.

Ha. Have fun DUERS.

1. nmore verses
I'm a puppet, just like Uncle Reagan, for Daddy and his buds,
They told me Saddam had scuds
and to invade Iraq
but I'm just a cheerleader, not a jock!

Oh, NO! Uncle Cheney's got a gun!
He ruins the fun for everyone!
Rummy says,"Stay the course"
But I'd rather be riding my horse.

It's fun to live in the White House with Barney & Mrs. Beasly,
But Laura's still my spouse, so Condi & I've got to be sneaky.
I think I'm in trouble now that the Democrats won
But I'm too ignorant to know what I've done!

Sinking the Ship of State.."The Little Captain Paces"

The little captain paces

Smiles are nowhere to be had
Everywhere he looks
The news is all bad
The journey's been one for the books

The little captain paces

Rumors of leaks spread
Get the buckets..bail bail bail
The listing ship is full of dread
The little captain's looking quite frail

The little captain paces

The coastline's out of sight
The ship used to be so strong
Confidence has turned to fright
What could have gone so wrong

The little captain paces

Nose first..down she goes
People claw each other to stay dry
It's sinking, and everyone knows
Some plead, some pray and some cry

The little captain no longer paces

Mad splashing is all around
Everyone's in the water , and how
Only one life vest is found
The little captain says "throw it here..NOW"

The little captain no longer looks at their faces

One by one they go down, with a kiss blown his way
Down, down, and finally under
The little captain's patience is beginning to fray
"Where is all my people?..I wonder..wonder"

The little captain is saved

They are back with him, as he takes note
He paddles to all his supporters
As he climbs on each, he embraces their bloat
He's so thankful there are no reporters

The little captain is still afloat
