Bush promises graceless exit from Iraq.

"I know," Bush began, trying, unsuccessfully, to stifle a tone of deep exasperation, "there's a lot of speculation that these reports in Washington mean there's going to be some kind of graceful exit out of Iraq. This business about a graceful exit just simply has no realism to it at all."

1. Just heard Sen. Jon Kyl use the term "graceful exit" on Wolfie's
show. This is the new "cut and run". They can't use that term any more, with the Iraq Group's report coming out suggesting the same thing the Dems have been saying.

They are so obvious with the use of their words. We won't hear cut and run any more, once that report comes out.

2. Good catch, BurtWorm.
I sure couldn't attach the word "graceful" to anything connected to Bush. One has to have class to perform seamlessly.

3. Of all imaginable attributes, "grace" is the absolute least applicable to Smirk.
I can think of no less applicable attribute - not integrity, not acumen, not compassion or empathy - nothing applies less to the Chimperor than "grace."

When I think of grace, I regard the American Heritage Dictionary's definition the closest: "Seemingly effortless beauty or charm of movement, form, or proportion." In my life, I've met exactly two people whose entire demeanor so impressed me that I regarded them as epitomizing the word "grace" far better than any intellectualizing I could ever muster. These were people in whose company I felt more totally at ease, alive, and stimulated than I could have before imagined. Their attitudes and behaviors were intelligent, good-humored, and pleasant without the slightest detectable trace of arrogance, condescension, judgment, or disrespect. For days and weeks after having met them and spent time in their company, I was stunned at how absolutely comfortable I was in their company and how beautiful I regarded their every movement and conversation.

I can't imagine Smirk coming within miles of such an attribute, even for a nanosecond.

4. He's right
It will probably look a lot like this:
