Who has a Myspace account?

I am doing an informal survey of sorts.

I am curious as to how many people here on DU have a myspace account. So if you could check in that would be appreciated.

We all seem like internet savvy people, this coupled with the popularity of myspace, I would guess there are at least 30-70 people with accounts.

8. Every AAR on air personality has a myspace page.

Several prominent Democratic politicians do too as well as Jeffrey Feldman from frameshop. We all know Rupert owns it, I always make sure I shout out a hearty FU to him there every once in awhile. You can reach over 100 million people on myspace. Not everyone there is a 'moran'. Kind of a sweeping generalization there. There are entire segments of people there into all kinds of alternative music, art, photography, comedy, there are as many types of people and interests there as you could imagine. And you are free to not choose to speak to the morans you run across from time to time. I actually ran across one whose name was..... actually Moran. LOL I put that person on myspaces version of the ignore button on DU.

... that Bushco doesn't want to report to FISA Court. If AAR and many other liberal organizations are on there, it gives them a lot of good info if they can get private messages, etc. Kinda adds up that Murdoch would help facilitate this.

11. I saw my 12 year old son on My space and he looked like I do on DU.

Little guy has scads of girls too.

He told me about his "date" last Friday ... went to see a movie w/
his girl friend (a new one every 2 weeks) and went with 5 of her
friends .... told me all they did was talk and he couldn't hear

but I've never used it. I registered because of a board I post to on IMDB and another poster asked some of us to go over to My Space. I was turned off because as soon as I registered I got messages from other members who wanted to be 'friends'. Here I am a middle aged adult with all these young people wanting to get chummy. It seems like a recipe for trouble, they know nothing about me and use no descretion.

29. My husband does

for his band, Big Floppy Disk. They play 80's music (we grew up in 80's) like stuff from Adam Sandler's movie The Wedding Singer. They are quite amusing. They play the local bars here in CT. I'll have to tell him that Murdoch owns Myspace. Maybe he can open an account on something else. Hubby hates the right wing nuts.
