Seven US soldiers killed this week-end in Iraq.
Four in combat and 3 by IEDS. A truly horrific waste.

1. Actually it's 9.
But what the hell, "they knew what they signed up for".

:sarcasm:

3. Freedom isn't free. Every so often the tree of liberty must be watered
with the blood of patriots. Yadda yadda yadda...

What a waste.

5. Yeah, really. 'Move along, citizen, nothing to see here. Only 22 shopping
days till Christmas, and the stores are counting on us to fight the war at home. You don't want the terrorists to win, do you?'

6. Do I hear 10?

Although I'm confused what "this week" means. If this week started today, the 3rd, then there were 3 today.

OnEdit: Never mind. I missed the "end" part of the subject, making it "weekend."

Anyway...

Since December 1, 10 soldiers have lost their lives.

For the week of November 26 - December 2, nineteen soldiers were killed.

and

Of course some of these aren't DOD confirmed yet.
