Congratulations George Bush! Today we hit 2900 soldier deaths
in iraq.

With a brilliant 9 deaths this weekend - and it's only Dec 3rd, and 26 deaths since Thanksgiving! We're right on track to give at least 100 US familys the great news - that their solder is a hero who died fighting for America, between just Thanksgiving and Christmas! Happy Holidays America!

And with only 100 left to die before we hit 3000, it's perfectly plausible that George will have the new marker by latest - Jan 15th. What a way to start the new year!

So Congrats George - you're the winner in this Bloodbath! Wonderful example of ruthless profiterring! It's working garishly.

6. You're right, he said comma.....
I'm giving him way too much credit by thinking he'd be bright enough to say asterisk.

2. Maybe when the number hits 3000, Georgie will shell out that
20 million or 50 million celebration dollars he planned to spend on the We-Won-Iraq Party.

7. Jan. 15 sounds right and some free association on Iraq.
I give it a 20% chance that we will have #3000 before 2007. Then again, there is an equal chance that #3000 could still be alive on Groundhog's day. I'd say 4000 by the time the election is in full swing and 5000 by the end of 2009. There could be 6000 before the end of the decade. This is about as bad as the Phillipine Insurgency. It lasted until 1906 and took 4000 lives. After that, the Phillipines became a protectorate. At this rate, I'd say that we should punish the bizzare new government of Turkey by giving Kurdistan its independence. We will probably have to make a permanent protectorate out of Iraq. I want to withdrawl, and I think we should, but what will happen to Iraq?

8. 3000 is going to infuriate the public
Not that we're not already upset, but reaching the 9/11 number is symbolic enough that even the M$M will talk about it. I hope we get out before it happens, but I'm not very hopeful it'll be before 100 more soldiers are murdered by Bush.

9. We already have passed the 9/11 death count if you Include Afghanistan.

Though our allies are bearing the a lot of the cost in Afghanistan. We need to step up in Afghanistan so we bring this stupid "war" or terror to a symbollic end by defeating Bin Laden. That would be the death blow to the GOP government if we were able to capture bin laden just days after the dems were elected in 2008.(just like the red wave of 1980) We would then repeal all these draconian counter-terrorism measures. If the stars align like that, the blue wave of 2006 will be the blue wave for the next 30 years.

10. I know, but 3000 dead in Iraq is the symbolic number the public will react to.

11. Oh, I agree with that...
Its just how to utilize it to end this war and win the "war" on terror. With the death (preferably capture) of Bin Laden, we can show the public and the terrorists what happens to you when you commit crimes against humanity. Hopefully,if we do this, we may not "end" terrorism, but we will make it a non-starter issue that can be dealt with through means that match what these terrorists are, common criminals. We will no longer encourage these beasts by making them look bigger than they are.

5. You think W and the elitist GOP care about the death count?
They wouldn't have sent our troops in to start with.
