Washington Journal is
way more refreshing these days. Almost four weeks after the Congressional elections, there is a breath of fresh air as more people express their true feelings.

This Indian man is letting them have it.

5. Did you hear the woman who's home-schooling her daughter?
Who said George Bush is doing a fabulous job, and as a result she wants to get her daughter back into a regular school?
If she's the one teaching her daughter, then yes, she needs to get her back into a real school quickly.:scared:

6. I love the semi-weekly Groverfest, myself. It is so convenient to have all the nuts out in the open
and the best part is the "them illegals is gettin' all the benefitss like Medicare and SS..." and "we don't even know how many Islams there are that Chavez let in over the border because there is no fence."

I honestly wonder where these people get their new. I can't wait until The Guardian comes to America and they accidentally buy a copy for the pretty colors on the front! Hopefully, Monbiot will be featured that day that they buy thier first...

7. Too many irrelevant or non essential topics
Military personnel are dying a bit too fast to be focusing on "how do you feel about the Dem candidates?" This is no more than an opportunity for the nut cases to call in and lie and smear the Dem candidates, and there far are too many other problems facing the country for this trivia to take top billing.

It was much better when they required callers to have a news story in hand when they called and had two equals on both sides to comment. Now the guest are alone and 3 to 1 republican so the republican lies and smears go un-rebutted and 'Democratic guest more than not DLC types or so called representatives of the 'liberal media' on topics that have nothing to do with Dem nor Liberal agenda items or ideas.

Naturally, the right wing idiots kept calling without articles or had articles very ridiculous and magnified their ignorance, so they changed the format to force it to be more fair and balance for the weak minded.

And I haven't even gotten to the part of how quickly dem callers get cut off mid sentence and rep callers are patiently allowed to complete their name calling and lying before moving on.

8. Government Has Many Faces, None Are Irrelevant, None Are Non Essential
I don't think that any subject that makes it to C-Span can be disregarded, even though some of the people and subjects are dull a dough.

If the last 6 years have shown us nothing else it should be that every thread of Government can be corrupted; no part of the operation of Government can be allowed to operate without scrutiny.

As to the cut off of Democrats while Republicans get to whine and lie as long as they pay their phone bill, its just perception. I feel the same way but I have noticed that every now and then a Democrat gets on who the world would live with hearing a little less of too.
