the new MIA - RIchard Cheney
Before the election, Darth was visiting all sorts of conservative groups, raising millions for the campaign. He frequently skewered the dems, made shit up and often refused to have any media coverage. Probably to protect those attending.

After the election, he continued to spew his peculiar brand of hatred, fear-mongering and anti-Iranian war threats. Until.

Some of his pronouncements bordered on irrational, given how much pressure he was trying to exert over Iran. Iran - a Shia-run country, has a natural affinity with the Shia in IraqNam. Saudi Arabia, a Wahabi based group most closely affiliated with Sunni muslims, realizes just as well as Iran, that Iraq is becoming a serious problem for both of their countries. They also realize that a general war between Sunni and Shia would be a disaster. Lastly, the realize that US policy, pretty much organized on the theories and goals of Darth Cheney, has been an utter and growing failure.

SO, when the Saudis invited Darth for discussions, on their soil, on their terms, and on their schedule, it said something that the famous Saudi hospitality was limited to a mere 2 hours - and that for part of that time, Darth was kept waiting.

The silence from Darth since his come to pappa meeting in Riyadh, in which he was taken to the proverbial woodshed, has been incredible. Unless you happen to be a huge contributor to Bush Cheney, or unless you run an oil, pipeline or energy company, you might not have noticed his absence since his dressing down. My only worry is that Dracula always seemed to be more dangerous the quieter he became. Darth has that in common with him.

3. Interesting that they feel they can afford to offend Cheney.
Fascinating. Who else is offering to prop their vile and corrupt asses in exchange for uninterrupted flow of oil?

7. I don't think he golfs, at least not with any witnesses present.
Hunting for him involved getting serfs to drug up and tie down a bunch of defenseless birds, then to be chauffered to a designated shooting sites, and to blow away these critters until he runs out of ammo or bourbon, which ever comes first. The term "mindless butchering" comes to mind.

5. Oh I noticed! I think his hiding also has to do with Rummy being fired.
Remember the story of how he attended the WH intro. mmeeting with the new Dem leaders, butdidn't attend the luncheon? Something very odd is going on within the inner circle!

6. I've noticed that he was keeping a pretty low profile. I really
didn't care why. Just as long as it stays that way.

Cheney acting like a big man is frightening. Cheney with the rug pulled out from under him is a good thing. Before the election he thought he was a law unto himself.

Now I suspect he's busy worrying about keeping all the bodies safely buried, if you get my drift.

9. You could get the impression that his handlers have shortened
the leash.

I don't just mean the Saudis or * either. I mean his real handlers, the ones we don't know about, the ones Pappy works for.

11. I always thought that he was a handler for the boy king.
never considered that he himself had handlers. But, it could very well be.

12. I think you are right about Cheney being the boy kings handler.
But Cheney is not from an established powerful family. He is not a poor man but his wealth is not limitless and his family has no history of power.

I don't know, I don't usually think this way. I may be wearing a foil hat today, but some people feel strongly about certain powerful families and their influence over world politics.
